"What Happened Bobby G?" is a micro-documentary filmed and edited by Aspen. The documentary centers on her uncle, Robert Gibson, and his experiences in the music industry. His decade in LA and the years after were an intricately woven quilt of near triumph and defeat. His retelling of the past brings forgotten emotions to the surface, not only for him but for generations of his family.

In this mini-documentary, Aspen was tasked with creating a film that was two minutes long with only one cut. She used observational footage of her grandmother and uncle discussing his time in the music business for the assignment.
